Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA), Ontario, Canada
My burgeoning career spans over 5 years of public and private sector experience, from developing surface water quality monitoring programs from the ground up in the Kawartha Lakes to collecting and conducting laboratory analyses on water samples for some of the largest municipalities in Canada. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to participate in a plethora of community-based projects while pursuing my education at Trent University and Sir Sandford Fleming College. These included a benthic biomonitoring assessment of Haliburton Lake, Ontario, and a hydrogeological and environmental site assessment of a decommissioned landfill site in Lindsay, Ontario, for the City of Kawartha Lakes. These diversified and multi-disciplinary experiences are combined with an unparalleled passion for the water resources sector and my formal education which consists of an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Water Resource Science from Trent University - where I won the prestigious Undergraduate Student Research Award (USRA), through NSERC in 2022, and the Shibatani Group International Scholarship in Water in 2021 - and an Advanced Diploma of Environmental Engineering Technology from Fleming College - where I graduated on the Dean’s List. I am a soon-to-be graduate of the Master of Environmental Science (M.Env.Sc) program at the University of Toronto Scarborough, in the internship stream, and am working towards a C.E.T. designation with OACETT. Furthermore, I proudly spend my spare time hiking and volunteering with environmental conservation non-profit organizations across southern Ontario.
